BEFORE

This one looked so sad hanging on the wall and the ad said it hadn't been ridden in years.  It was covered in a thick layer of dust.  I had to clean it up and give it a home where it would be ridden again!

This Diamondback had groovy purple with black splash paint that was still in remarkably good condition and restored beautifully.  The parts also cleaned up well and they work well, too.  For some reason, someone had replaced the front derailleur with a 2-speed one so it wouldn't shift properly.  I couldn't find an Altus A20 to replace it but I did find an A10 in really good shape.  The bike shifts perfectly now.  I don't usually keep reflectors on a bike but this one had all the original ones still there, including the ones on the wheels, so I had to keep them. It will be a great bike for cruising the Greenway and the Rail Trail.
